The Leprechaun
The worst of the Leprechaun horror movie series is Leprechaun 4: In Space. Yes, it takes place in space, but that's what makes it so amazing. Leprechaun 4 is a great example of how to make something "special" out of a totally ridiculous premise. The movie is full of practical effects, creative kills, and Leprechaun quotes that will make you roll on the floor laughing. Leprechaun 4: In Space is a must-see for anyone who likes the Leprechaun movies or scary movies in general.
Pinhead
Prequel and sequel rolled into one, Hellraiser: Bloodline is a must-see for fans of the horror genre. The plot covers three separate historical periods: the 1700s, the 1990s, and the 2200s. I didn't have big hopes for the fourth film in the series since, let's face it, I'm just here for Pinhead and the Cenobites. It is always a delight to watch Doug Bradley play because he retains that chilly, menacing, and demonic vibe. This makes no logic and is tough to understand, but who cares about any of those things? The moments with Pinhead, even if you've watched Hellraiser to its conclusion, are still worth seeing if only for their sheer terror. If you loved Hellraiser or any of the other works by Clive Barker, you should check out this one for sure. Even though there isn't a whole lot of logic to it, it's still a tremendously interesting ride.
Critters
When I heard that Critters 4 was going to be set in space, I have to admit I was intrigued. I mean, how could they possibly top the previous Critters movies? But then I saw the cast list and it just didn't look promising. Brad Dourif? Angela Bassett? And a famous Danish actor named Anders Hove? I just didn't see how this was going to work.
And my concerns were verified when I eventually watched Critters 4. A rip-off of other franchises placed in a poor locale, the plot was awful, the characters were bad, and the tale was bad as well. What truly hurts from a fan standpoint is that the very features that made the prior entries distinctive and enjoyable are either entirely stripped away or simply not there at all. Critters 4 is a terrible mess and a major letdown.
Dracula
Dracula 3000 is one of the few bad horror movies that are so bad that they're almost impossible to watch. I hate Dracula 3000 and I love it. Even though it's terrible the whole time, the worst part is the ending, which was a total cop-out and left me feeling very unsatisfied. I thought "Dracula in Space" would be so bad that it would be funny, but it was so bad that it was awful. The idea is fun, but the acting is bad and the dialogue is so bad that it's almost impossible to watch. If you want to feel bad for the rest of the day, you should watch it.
Also, Coolio. It stars Coolio. Did I mention that?
Jason Voorhees
Jason X is the most well-known horror film sequel in which the villain travels to space. Jason Voorhees is the man, the tale, and the myth. Leprechaun in space It makes no difference how he arrived into space. Nobody cares why he's in space. All that counts is that Jason is in space, ready to cause mayhem.
Jason X is, in my view, worth observing for Easter eggs and references to earlier Friday the 13th films, as well as his transformation into Uber Jason.
While not everyone will like this film, horror movie aficionados who enjoy gory, cheesy slasher movies should definitely check it out.
